
The values of currency freedom chapter v-nickels available in the underlying table. All freedoms V-nickels (also called responsible freedom nickels) who have a readable date are worth at least 15 times their face value (seventy-five cents), unless they are almost completely worn out or badly damaged. Prices in this table are about what a dealer will give you for coins grade medium type typically found in old shoe boxes, vases, Whitman folders, reseller "lots undifferentiated", etc. (image above for an example of "middle grade.") If coins are still identifying, or very little wear, the value might be 10 to 12 times higher or more. The mint mark, if the currency is one, is directly underneath the point to the left of cents back, near the position of 7 hours.

* 1883 V-nickel has 2 varieties. Variety 1 does not have cents on the back. Variety 2 (and the rest of the series) has cents on the back.
** The 1913 Liberty head V-nickel never entered the circulation. Only 5 specimens are known. Estimated value: $ 2 to $ 2.5 million!
