State quarters began to be released in 1999. Mintages (numbers made by Mint US) are in the hundreds of millions of coins for all States, there is neither rare dates Mint marks. There are, however, some types of errors and variety of subdivision of State that are rare, and worth the extra money, sometimes hundreds, even thousands of times from face value! Thanks to their recent release and high mintages, Statehood Quarters should typically be in Mint State (MS) to be worth anything at face value. Many people collect State quarters from Original Bank-Wrapped rolls (OBW); I have a separate table for the quarter of State roll of values. Prices in this table are currency values has affected individual coins for circulation, that they are holders of plastic. Note that these are the General guidelines. If you are interested in selling your Statehood Quarters, contact a dealer of currency.

The values in this table are about what a dealer will give you for the currencies of State Mint media type typically found in circulation, but still with all their luster to Mint (still glossy). If your state quarters are still pristine and untouched with faces, the value might be 2 to 3 times higher or more. The mintmark is on straight (side heads), on the right side under "in God We Trust."
Note:
* Has passed Legislation to extend the programme for the Statehood Quarters another year to include these territories.
