State Quarter Values - Prices

State quarters are issued in rolls of 40 coins per roll of fourth State.  They started out in 1999.  Mintages (numbers made by Mint US) are in the hundreds of millions of coins for all States, there is neither rare dates Mint marks.  There are, however, some coins of error and the variety of subdivision of State that are rare and worth of extra cash.  Because of their recent release and high mintages, Statehood Quarters are often quoted in rolls across, rather than as single coins.  Rolls must be formed by solid-solid quarter date, type of mint States be worth anything at face value.  Many people collect individually state quarters; I have a separate table for values of State subdivision single currency.  Prices in this table are currency values for quarter of OBW was just rolls.  (OBW means Bank money rolls-Wrapped original).  Note that these are the General guidelines. If you are interested in selling the Statehood quarter rolls, you must contact a dealer of currency.

The values in this table are about what a dealer will give you generic for all rolls of mint State quarter.  If your state quarters are still rolls of mint brand that the name of the State, are worth at least 25% more.  Fourth was original, branded, sealed rolls from States known to have many errors, as Wisconsin, Minnesota and Colorado are significant prizes.  The mintmark is on straight (side heads), on the right side under "in God We Trust."
